HSB TENNIS CENTRES HOUSE RULES

A respectful tennis player behaves on court in accordance with good etiquette and fair play.
Following these house rules helps ensure high-quality playing conditions, well-maintained courts, and a pleasant experience for all players.

1. Booking and Payment

• Access to the courts without a prior booking is prohibited.
This helps ensure proper court availability management and prevents overlapping bookings.

• Before entering the court, all playing times must be booked in advance and registered with the administrator at Haapsalu Sports Centre.

• Krahviaia tennis courts can be conveniently booked and paid for through our online booking system.
This is the fastest and most convenient way to confirm your booking.

• In exceptional cases, payment for Krahviaia courts may also be made at Haapsalu Sports Centre (Lihula mnt 10).
When paying on-site, payment must be completed no later than 9:30 PM. If your playing time does not allow this, payment must be made before entering the court.

• If payment for a booked court is not made by the required time, a €5 late payment fee will apply per payer.
This ensures accurate payment processing and helps avoid confusion and additional administrative workload.

• Bookings may be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled playing time by notifying us in writing at spordikeskus@hsb.ee.

• Bookings not cancelled in time must be paid in full, regardless of whether the court was used or not.

2. Arrival and Playing Time

• Do not enter the court before your reserved playing time.

• Please finish your session on time out of respect for the next players.

3. Clothing and Footwear

• Appropriate sportswear is required.

• Only tennis shoes specifically designed for tennis are permitted on the courts.
Tennis shoes provide safer movement and help protect the court surface.

• Indoor courts require clean, non-marking tennis shoes.
Improper footwear may damage the carpet surface and leave permanent marks.

• Outdoor courts require tennis shoes suitable for the specific court surface.
Unsuitable footwear may damage the court surface and negatively affect playing conditions.

• Failure to comply may result in a €100 contractual penalty to cover possible maintenance and restoration costs.

4. Court Use and Maintenance

• On clay courts, please water the court if necessary before play.
Proper moisture helps preserve the court and ensures better playing conditions.

• After your session, please tidy the court by:
– filling any holes
– brushing the court
– cleaning the court lines

Proper maintenance helps preserve court quality for the next players.

5. General Rules of Conduct

• Smoking, alcohol abuse, and offensive language are prohibited on the tennis centre premises.
We aim to provide a pleasant and safe environment for all visitors.

• Any damage caused to centre property or equipment must be fully compensated.

6. Liability

In the event of a violation of these house rules, the centre management reserves the right to refuse service and to unilaterally terminate the validity of the HSB Tennis Friend Card.

We look forward to seeing you on the courts!
